NB-IOT Intelligent Water Meter
NB-IOT intelligent water meter does not need to provide power supply, low power technology is the unique advantage of this water meter, only in the moment of meter reading needs power supply to complete the data collection work, so the service life is greatly increased.

Compared NB-IOT the traditional water meter, the new water meter with intelligent water meter delivery and settlement transaction only has the function of flow collection and mechanical pointer display water consumption. In addition to recording and electronic display of water consumption, intelligent water meters can also control water consumption according to the agreement.

Installation of water meter
- choose the correct caliber of water meter;
- Horizontal mounting, surface facing up, the arrow direction on the surface shell is the same as the flow direction. Installation location should avoid exposure, flooding, freezing and pollution, easy to disassemble and assemble, meter reading. New pipes must be the pipe sand, hemp and other debris washed clean after the water meter, so as not to cause water meter failure;
- The upstream and downstream of the water meter should be fitted with valves, when used to ensure that all open;
- Water meter upstream and downstream to install the necessary straight pipe section or its equivalent rectifier, the length of the upstream straight pipe section is not less than 10D, the length of the downstream straight pipe section is not less than 5D (D is the nominal caliber of the water meter). For eddy current caused by bend pipe or centrifugal pump, rectifier must be installed in front of straight pipe section;
- During the installation of the water meter, it should be noted that the outlet of the downstream pipeline of the water meter is more than 0.5 m above the water meter, so that the water meter is not measured correctly due to the insufficient flow pipeline;
- The water meter has good anti-clogging performance, but it is sensitive to silt and weeds in the pipeline, so it should be avoided as far as possible during use. If there is silt and weeds in the pipeline should be cleaned up in time, otherwise it will affect the normal metering of the water meter.
Note：
- replace the battery must cover the moisture-proof cover, screw tight, otherwise the table does not work and card display E--5.
- Check the operation of intelligent water meter regularly, pay attention to anti-freezing in winter.
- Please close the valve before and after the smart water meter if it has been installed in the pipe but not delivered for use or for a long time (more than one week) without water, we do not bear the consequences arising therefrom.
- If the electronic display of the intelligent water meter does not match the word wheel or the intelligent water meter fails, the word wheel measurement shall prevail.
